Caretta Blue plays well-known standards in typical swing style, own compositions or songs in cool Brazilian Latin sound. The heart of the band, Daniela Heydt and Rainer Kramer, are not only a couple on stage. With their soulful interplay they enchant their audience and provide it with musical caresses.
Experienced partners at many concerts are the excellent musicians Harry Lorz on the bass and Bernhard Schultheiss on the drums.
„Her name is Daniela Heydt, she is obsessed with swing, she is charming and speaks many languages, which she also knows how to apply when singing. Madame also inspires her own musicians, as you can see, Rainer Kramer on the piano, Harry Lorz on the bass and Bernhard Schultheiss on the drums. She speaks freely, has good humorous ideas and stays close to the audience.“ Jazz Podium, November 2014
„Sounds that arise in your mind should always go through the heart and soul before they touch the keys through your fingers.” With his weightless virtuoso touch Rainer Kramer creates gently sparkling waves of sound. His ideas and arrangements shape the typical sound of Caretta Blue.
„Our music comes along with ease without being shallow.“
